The country is targeting to invite 471,000 new permanent residents by the end of the year 2022. Sean Fraser, the Immigration Minister of Canada stated, “Canadian immigration is looking forward to reaching the immigration levels target, for the next three years. The primary objective is to recover the economic growth and strengthen the industries as well as communities, depending on immigration, all across the country.” The country is planning to invite 1.5 million new comers by 2025.
