This pilot program that was launched on April 22, 2021, will be active till January 1, 2026. Satisfying the criteria of this program will allow you to submit an application for permanent selection so that you can obtain a CSQ (Certificat de sélection du Québec).
The immigration process for the Quebec
To apply for permanent selection under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program, you have to file an Expression of Interest (EOI). This can be done online free of charge.
The conditions for eligibility to apply are:
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must be willing to live in Quebec.
- You must be willing to work in Quebec in an occupation you are capable of working in.
This EOI will have a validity of 12 months from the date of submission.
While applying, you must submit the following information:

- Contact information
- Work experience
- Family situation
- Status in Québec
- Knowledge of English and French
- A job offer validated by Quebec’s Ministry of Immigration
- Other additional information
If your spouse is accompanying you, then you must give your spouse’s and your children’s details too.
After submitting your application to EOI, you will be placed in the EOI bank. When your profile is found to match the requirements of the province at a point of time, you will get invited to submit an application for permanent selection.
You can submit that application online via Arrima. You will have 30 days to lodge your application for permanent selection. After lodging your application, it will be duly processed during which process your application will be reviewed with all criteria considered.
If your application is approved, you will receive a CSQ. Then you must apply to the Canadian government or permanent resident status.
