What is CELPIP?
There are two types of CELPIP tests:
CELPIP – General: The test measures the English language skills of a person applying for a Canada permanent residency in all aspects, including speaking, reading, listening, and writing. IRCC has approved CELPIP-General for permanent residency applications, which takes about three hours to complete.
CELPIP - General LS: The test measures a person’s English listening and speaking abilities to apply for Canadian citizenship. The test takes about one hour to complete and is an IRCC-approved test for citizenship applications in the country.
