Details of the Express Entry draw from August 17, 2022

Canada has sent 2,250 ITAs to the immigration candidates on August 17, 2022 through Express Entry making the candidates from the FSWP, CEC, FSTP, and PNP also eligible to receive an invitation.

These candidates existing in the registration pool are ranked using the points-based system which is known as the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

All Express Entry program draw

On August 17, 2022, Canada has held a new draw for the immigration candidates through Express Entry program. The highest-ranked candidates, existing in the pool are selected and then invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

This draw sent 2,250 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to the candidates with a minimum CRS score of 525, ranking the candidates using a points-based system, called as the Comprehensive Ranking Score.

Since this draw doesn’t have any specified program, the immigration candidates were eligible to apply from:

• The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
• The Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
• The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
• The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

According to the World Education Services (WES) research, one of the IRCC designated Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) providers stated that there is a high demand for FSWP candidates to proceed with the Canadian immigration process.
