Highlights: Ontario issued 363 NOIs for French Speaking workers

  • The candidates who have registered their profile from September 23, 2021, to September 23, 2022
  • The candidates who had scored 326 and above in the CRS were invited
  • In 2022, under the Ontario FSSW stream 1379 candidates

Abstract: Ontario invited 363 candidates who were proficient in French.

On September 23, 2022, Ontario conducted a draw for the applicants in the French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream. The OINP draw issued 363 invitations to the FSSW or French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream individuals. They are now eligible for Canada PR or permanent residency.

The applicants were eligible for this draw only if they have the required skills in French.

The individuals who were issued NOIs have to apply within 45 days through the official online portal. It is the 5th FSSW draw in 2022. So far, 1379 NOIs have been issued in 2022 to French Speaking skilled workers.

Eligibility for FSSW

The FSSW is a stream in PNP or Provincial Nominee Program. PNP selects applicants from the pool of Express Entry. The candidates who were issued NOI are eligible to apply for Canada PR. The eligibility criteria for the FSSW are:

  • An existing profile in the Express Entry system
  • Meet the criteria for the following pathway:
  • A minimum of 7 in the CLB or Canadian Language Benchmark for French.
  • Adequate funds to cover the costs
