Abstract: Nova Scotia has issued Letter of Interest to candidates under the Early Childhood Educator on December 20, 2022.

The provincial authorities of Nova Scotia have issued LOIs or Letter of Interest to eligible candidates for the ECE or Early Childhood Educator Immigration pilot on December 20, 2022.

If the candidate is interested in proceeding further with the process, they are required to contact the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development online.

What is the Nova Scotia Early Childhood Educator Pilot Program?

The eligibility criteria for the Atlantic Immigration Program are:

  • Job offer from a recognized organization by the Atlantic Immigration Program.
  • Legal status in the country of residence
  • Valid passport
  • Qualifications from learning institutions in Canada or ECA (Educational Credential Assessment) if the studies were pursued outside Canada.
  • Language test having a CLB score of at least 5 in either English or French
  • Proof of work experience of at least one year in Early Childhood Development or related fields.
  • Intent to permanently settle in Nova Scotia

What is Nova Scotia Nominee Program: Skilled Worker Stream?

The Skilled Worker stream of the Nova Scotia Nominee Program helps employers recruit skilled international professionals and graduates who fulfill the eligibility requirements needed in Nova Scotia. An employer can hire skilled foreign nationals for job roles only when they are unable to fill the vacancy with citizens of Canada or permanent residents.

NSNP is the Provincial Nominee Program of Nova Scotia.

The eligibility criteria for the NSNP Skilled Worker Stream are:

  • Job offer from an employer based in Nova Scotia
  • Legal status in the country of residence
  • Valid passport
  • Proof of graduation from secondary school in the country of origin
  • Proof of language proficiency in either French or English with a minimum score of 5 in the CLB
  • Proof of work experience of at least one year in Early Childhood Development or other related fields
  • Intent to permanently settle in Nova Scotia
