PNP is a popular pathway for immigration candidates to find their way to get the opportunity to move to Canada and find a great opportunity to succeed in their careers. On a regular basis, Canadian provinces conduct PNP draws about which you get to learn in official releases of information.

Information on the 2 rounds of invitations conducted by Alberta on September 14 and September 21, 2021, were given out lately. These PNP draws were conducted for Express Entry candidates.

The September 14 draw

This AINP draw had Alberta PNP invite 385 Express Entry candidates. They were invited to apply for a provincial nomination. They were required to have 300 CRS points as the minimum score to be eligible to receive an invitation.

The September 21 draw

450 Express Entry candidates were invited via this Alberta PNP draw. They required 300 CRS points to have eligibility to get an invitation.

In 2021, Alberta PNP has sent 5,342 invitations to date. The limit set for the issuance of invitations for Alberta in 2021 is 6,250.

About Alberta Express Entry Stream

Alberta Express Entry Stream is an enhanced PNP stream. The provincial government of Alberta can access the Express Entry pool of immigration candidates maintained by the federal government of Canada to find suitable candidates.

Express Entry is a points-based application management system used by the federal government to manage applications for immigration. These applications are filed for 3 federal high-skilled immigration programs namely CEC, FSTP, and FSWP.

The applicants to Express Entry have their profiles added to a candidate pool that's accessible to both federal and provincial governments. Every candidate profile is ranked by CRS with scores assigned. Factors like age, education, work experience, and skills in Canada’s official language are considered to decide the scores.

When provincial governments choose and nominate Express Entry candidates through PNP draws, they automatically add 600 extra points to their original CRS scores. This way, the candidates get a higher score that will increase their chances to get an ITA to the near surety in a forthcoming federal immigration draw.

For a provincial nomination, these candidates need to create an EOI profile with the provincial PNP involved. The EOI profiles are given scores on the province’s unique points grid.

The highest-scoring Express Entry candidates are invited by IRCC to apply for Canada PR when they take part in regular invitation rounds. Those who are invited can officially apply for Canada immigration.

If you are trying to immigrate to Alberta, you must have the willingness to work and settle there. The following factors can serve as an advantage to the candidate regarding the opportunity to get nominated provincially to Alberta:
