What is Expression of Interest?

The system of EOI or Expression of Interest is a tool of application management used to select skilled immigrants to submit a profile in the Express Entry pool. The immigrants need to meet specific requirements to be eligible for the issuance of an EOI letter.

A submission in EOI in International Skilled Worker is not considered as an application in the SINP. Instead, it is a submission allowing the candidate to apply online to notify the Canadian authorities of their interest to register in the SINP and showcase their qualifications.

The candidates who have the required skills in the job market of Saskatchewan are selected from the pool of International Skilled Workers. The data asked to submit is used to assess the candidate's eligibility. It helps in determining if the information submitted is eligible for the International Skilled Worker EOI pool.

The criteria used to evaluate the candidate's eligibility include:

  • Work experience
  • Connections to the province
  • Language proficiency
