If you have made up your mind to immigrate to work in Canada after your studies, but have no job offers from the country, you have no need to worry. Here we will look at Canada immigration options that will allow you to move to Canada even without a job offer from a Canadian employer.

The Canada immigration programs that allow you to immigrate without a job offer can be identified at both federal and provincial levels.

Immigration programs under Canada Express Entry system

Canada Express Entry is a points-based application management system. It’s utilized by Canada’s federal government for the management of immigration applications. These applications are lodged by aspiring candidates for 3 federal high-skilled immigration programs. They are FSWP, FSTP, and CEC.

These immigration programs don’t need you to have a job offer from a Canadian employer to enter Canada.

About FSWP

The FSWP is meant for skilled workers with foreign work experience and willing to immigrate to Canada as a Canada PR visa holder.

The minimum requirements for this program are related to:

  • Skilled work experience - You must have worked in any one of these NOC classified job skill types 0, A, and B.
  • Language skills - You must get a minimum score of CLB 7 in all language skill sections
  • Education – A foreign education credential and an ECA from a designated organization demonstrating that your qualification is equal to one from a Canadian qualification

You must be admissible and must have a sufficient amount of money for you and your family to live in Canada.

About FSTP

The FSTP is meant for skilled foreign nationals who wish to become a Canada PR visa holder on the basis of being qualified in a skilled trade.

The minimum eligibility criteria for the program are:

  • Meet the language level requirements in all language skills
  • Have a minimum of 2 years full-time experience (or equal work experience in a part-time job) in a skilled trade within the 5 years prior to lodging application
  • Meet the job requirements for the particular skilled trade as specified by NOC

You must be admissible and must have a sufficient amount of money for you and your family to live in Canada.

Immigration programs under PNP

Canada immigration programs are held at the provincial level too that doesn’t require the candidate to have a job offer from Canada. These PNPs include OINP, SINP, and NSPNP.

OINP

OINP is Ontario’s economic immigration program that partners itself with the Canadian government via IRCC. Through OINP international students and foreign workers with the right skills, experience, and qualifications apply for a provincial nomination.

OINP’s Human Capital category is a pathway to qualify for a nomination for workers with the required education, valuable work experience, and a profile in Canada’s Express Entry system. They also require language proficiency in English or French.

SINP

SINP is a pathway to immigrate to Canada via the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It chooses Canada immigration candidates who are ready to work and settle in Saskatchewan.

SINP’s International Skilled Worker category is useful for you if you are willing to move to Canada to work and live in Saskatchewan without a job offer.

NSPNP

Candidates can participate in Nova Scotia PNP draws via the Nova Scotia Labor Market Priorities stream to enter the province without a job offer. To qualify, your profile must be in the Express Entry pool and you should receive an LOI from the province.

So, now that you have a snapshot of options for Canada immigration without a job offer available, you can start planning your move to Canada.
