The Immigration, Refugee, Citizenship Canada (IRCC) opened another all-program Express Entry draw within one week of the previous EE draw held on March 23, 2023. In this latest invitations round, a total of 7,000 ITAs were issued to candidates with a CRS score of 481 and above. The cut-off is recorded as the lowest so far in 2023 for any Canada Express Entry draw.
In the 9th Express Entry draw of 2023, invitations were issued to candidates under all three EE programs, including:

Lately, Express Entry draws have been following an unusual trend. Typically, EE draws takes place bi-weekly, i.e., Wednesday afternoons. But the recently held 3 consecutive draws took place weekly.
Talking about the series of draws held in March, IRCC issued massive 21,000 invitations. As a result, the CRS score has dropped significantly. With CRS scores consistently dropping and the number of ITAs issued rising with each passing draw, it’s a perfect time to apply for Canada PR visa.
By conducting frequent, large Express Entry draws, the IRCC is clearly working hard towards reaching its immigration target, i.e., to invite 83,000 candidates through Federal High Skilled programs.
Canada is aiming to attract the skilled foreign workers to meet skill shortages at key sectors, like health care, manufacturing, technology and skilled trades. This will in turn help Canada better manage the socio-economic challenges.
