About the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)

Through its PNP, British Columbia aims to attract skilled foreign nationals who are in high demand and wish to become permanent residents of Canada. The BC PNP is divided into two migration streams, i.e., Express Entry and Skills Immigration. Both streams are divided into several sub-categories managed under Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).

To apply via the BC PNP’s registration system, applicants must register their account. They’ll be assigned a score based on

  • Work experience,
  • Language proficiency,
  • Educational qualifications, etc.

The highest-scoring applicants are then invited through different streams to apply for a provincial nomination with British Columbia to apply for a Canada PR visa.
