The US has taken the next step in opening up to visitors and this one will delight travelers from Canada and Mexico waiting to visit the USA.

From November 2021, travelers from Canada and Mexico can do the USA travel for non-essential purposes. The US land border will be opened for entry to those who are fully vaccinated.

Fully-vaccinated visitors from Canada and Mexico will be able to undertake USA travel for non-essential purposes like tourism and visiting friends/family via land or through seaports across ferry border crossings.

This step will give the USA a boost as it will benefit the border communities economically. The benefit will also be to the broader economic scene of the USA.

The opening of borders will happen in 2 phases as planned by the USA. In November 2021, fully vaccinated travelers from Mexico and Canada can enter via land or sea to the US upon producing the vaccination proof.

Later, in the second phase, the US will require all essential and non-essential travelers to the country to be fully vaccinated and carry the proof for it. This will be from January 2022. Those who come under this stipulation will be essential travelers including students, truckers, and healthcare workers.
