Changes in Express Entry

In 2022, IRCC announced multiple changes in the Express Entry system of 2023. In November, IRCC changed the NOC 2016 to NOC 2021 TEER codes. The NOC or National Occupation Classification system helps in categorizing a candidate's skill level and profession in the Express Entry system.

IRCC changed the skills category from 0-D level to a system of TEER or training, education, experience, and responsibilities. In the NOC 2021, 16 occupations are eligible for economic immigration programs facilitated by Express Entry.
