Spain Announces the Extension of the Job Seeker Visa Validity

As part of the reformed Immigration Law, Spain announced that it would extend the validity of the job seeker visa by next year from three months to twelve months. The new Spain Job seeker visa changes will offer better opportunities for foreign nationals planning to work in Spain and settle there. Spain has also planned to introduce several other changes related to foreign nationals in May 2025.

Spain will regularize 300,000 Migrants each year by 2027 

Spain has decided to regularize undocumented migrants in the country by 2027. The country aims to regularize a total of 300,000 migrants every year until the end of 2027. By the end of three years, around 900,000 migrants will be issued legal rights to reside and work in the country.

The reason for regularizing migrants is to stabilize the country's economy. Spain currently needs around 250,000 workers to maintain it. Spain will also introduce a new streamlined process for foreign workers to obtain work and residency permits starting May 2025.
