New Rules for International students to apply for an Italian Student visa

The Italian government has introduced new visa rules for Italian Student visas for those applying for long-term visas (D visas) and wanting to remain in the country for 90 days.

 

From January 10, 2025, international students have to book and attend an individual appointment with an Italian consultant to provide their fingerprints.  International students must pay extra for fingerprint collection besides traveling and study expenses. The number of American students who want to study in Italy has increased by 37 per cent from last year.
