The US President Donald Trump has announced that he will soon be signing a merit-based immigration plan for US immigration. The new plan will address the matter of identity of illegal residents in the country who were brought into the country as children under the DACA program.

The DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) is a USA immigration policy that permits certain individuals who are present in the US unlawfully. These people were brought to the US as children to get a renewable 2-year long postponement of deportation and get eligibility for a USA work permit.

Now, Trump has said that he will soon be signing a strong and improved immigration act. The new act will include a lot of improvement in how DACA is implemented and managed. The new act will ensure that migrants come in clean and legally. Good care will be taken of the people from DACA, as he puts it “in a very Republican way”.
