British Columbia invites 237 immigrants to call it home

In the recent Canada immigration draw conducted by British Columbia, 237 immigration candidates were invited to apply for provincial nomination. The draw took place on May 7, 2020.

The invitations were sent by the British Columbia Nominee Program (BC PNP). The candidates invited belonged to the streams of Express Entry and Skills immigration.

There were 2 subcategories for Express Entry BC stream, namely:

  • Skilled Worker - provincial score required was 108
  • International Graduate - provincial score required was 106

The candidates invited in the draw have their profiles in the federal Express Entry System. With the receipt of a provincial nomination, they will get a guarantee of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA). The ITA will lead them to get a Permanent Residence (PR) in the future Canada Express Entry draw.

There we 3 subcategories for Skills Migration stream, namely:

  • Skilled Worker – Minimum provincial score was 102
  • International Graduate - Minimum provincial score was 106
  • Entry-Level and Semi-skilled - Minimum provincial score was 83

The candidates who have got ITAs have a maximum of 30 days to submit their completed applications for the provincial nomination under BC PNP. The days are counted from the day they receive their invitations.
