Germany

Germany is offering 21 pathways for immigrants work, live, or study in the country, with job shortage in sectors such as Agriculture, Construction, and Transportation.

 

  • Germany has made the process for skilled workers easier to obtain a blue card visa so that foreign workers can get jobs at lower salary thresholds.
  • Blue card holders also benefit from an accelerated path to permanent residency, which begins 21 months after relocating to Germany.

Finland

Finland has decided to annually increase the immigration through work visas to 30,000. Finland is targeting foreign workers to reduce the growing labor crisis through these initiatives.
