The highest-ranked matrix in each profession was welcomed to apply for the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) nomination with a cut-off for selection. Canberra Matrix draw invites 33 candidates The cut-off for selection is based on the remaining allocation of the month, date, and time of the Matrix submission, profession cap, and demand. The higher the need for a specific profession, the greater the rank of the Matrix score invited. Below are the types of candidates who will not receive an invitation:

  • Those who have previously received an ACT nomination; or
  • Those with an active application in the system

As the Invitations are unguaranteed, the requests for information on ranking or the chances of receiving an invitation will not be acted in response. The matrix will not be prioritized, and neither will be able to issue invitations under any personal circumstances.
