Immigration Compliance Advice

Know your visa’s expiry date
Always check your passport stamp and keep track of your last permitted day in Indonesia.

Apply for extensions early
Submit visa extension requests well before expiry to avoid overstaying.

Pay fines through official channels
Ensure all payments are made directly at immigration offices or through approved systems. Avoid unofficial agents.

Be prepared for compliance checks
Immigration authorities conduct random monitoring to ensure foreigners comply with visa regulations.

Understand the risks
Even a one-day overstay can result in fines, and longer overstays can lead to deportation, bans, or legal action.
