Application process
As a dependent, you can apply for a residence permit before you arrive in Denmark by submitting an application to the Danish Immigration Service. Before submitting an application to the Danish embassy, the applicant must provide his biometric information.
The applicant must provide required biometric information to the Danish embassy or consulate in their native country.

Is it possible for a spouse to work in Denmark as a dependent?
If you are given a green card dependent visa because you are the spouse of a green card holder who is already a resident of Denmark, you will be permitted to work in Denmark for the duration of the visa; but, once the visa has expired, you will be unable to work or stay in the country.
Is it possible to bring spouse to Denmark on a student visa?
Students with student permits are allowed to bring their spouse, registered partner as well as any children under the age of 18 who live with them. Dependents will be able to obtain residency permits.
