Denmark Dependant Visa

When it comes to establishing a successful family and life, Denmark may be the finest option. Denmark’s government launched the “Family Reunification Scheme” to reunite immigrants’ families and support dependent partners or parents. It enables eligible migrants to sponsor their family members to come to Denmark and live with them.

The following family members can apply for the visa:

Spouse

Children under 18

Documents required

2 passport size photographs

  • Passports and copies of previous visas
  • A cover letter stating the purpose of visit
  • Proof of civil status
    • Proof of adequate funds
  • A minimum policy worth 30,000 Euros for travel insurance
    • Bank statements of the last three months
Application process

As a dependent, you can apply for a residence permit before you arrive in Denmark by submitting an application to the Danish Immigration Service. Before submitting an application to the Danish embassy, the applicant must provide his biometric information.

The applicant must provide required biometric information to the Danish embassy or consulate in their native country.
