Study in UK in its top 10 universities listed in QS world rankings 2022

The QS World University Ranking for 2022 had 90 universities in the UK on the list. It’s always been highly recommended to study in UK. Now, there’s an even better reason for you to take that path in 2022.

In fact, British universities claimed 4 of the top 10 entries in the world rankings. Only the USA has a larger number of universities that have been listed in the QS World University Ranking 2022. The US has 177 universities on the ranking list.

Here’s a list of the top 10 universities in the UK that made it into the QS work rankings:

A little about universities in the UK

  • England has the largest number of universities in the UK.
  • The University of Oxford climbed 3 places to reach the second position in the world ranking. The University of Cambridge climbed 5 ranks to reach third on the global rank list.
  • There’s no maximum tuition fee chargeable by English universities for international students. They could end up paying £10,000 to £26,000 per annum for UG-level courses.
  • Scotland is home to what’s called the “ancient four”, indicating the 4 universities that were founded before 1,600. These are:
    • Aberdeen (QS ranking - 205)
    • Andrews (QS ranking – 91)
    • Glasgow (QS ranking – 73)
    • Edinburgh (QS ranking – 16)
  • The tuition fee rates for international students to do UG and PG courses in Scotland are as follows:
    • UG - £10,000 to £26,000 per year
    • PG - £15,000 to £30,000 per year
