Rank 10 – University of Chicago

Rank 3 – University of Cambridge

The University of Cambridge is a collegiate public research institution. It was founded in 1209. Today, it has a strength of over 18,000 students coming from different countries of the world.

The university is divided into 31 autonomous colleges. If you want to apply, you will have to do so to the college individually.

The university has 6 academic schools namely:

  • Clinical Medicine
  • Technology
  • Biological Sciences
  • Physical Sciences
  • Arts and Humanities
  • Humanities and Social Sciences

These are spread across the colleges of the university that has around 150 faculties as well as other institutions.

Cambridge is famous for being a vibrant place for a student to be in. The university has over 100 libraries with over 15 million books in them.

Rank 1 - Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)

The MIT is an institution that has made advancements of knowledge in science, technology, and scholarly areas to make the world a better place has grabbed the top spot in the QS World University Ranking for 2022.

The motto of MIT is “Mind and Hand”. MIT was found in 1861 as a small community of science lovers and problem solvers who wanted to bring their knowledge to the betterment of the world.

Today, the institution has evolved into an educational behemoth. It’s a coeducational, independent, and privately endowed university. It’s organized into 5 schools namely:
