New Zealand is one of the beautiful countries with a dazzling wealth of mind-blowing sceneries and fun-loving people. It also offers luscious wine, a vibe, and mouth-watering food. New Zealand is on the 9th rank in the world happiness report.

Abstract: New Zealand is one of the first countries to get vaccinations done before even the omicron swept through this year. With this step, 5 million population New Zealand has eliminated many virus breakouts. During covid-19, New Zealand has imposed the world's strictest rules for international borders for almost two years.

Highlights

Like all other countries, New Zealand is ready to open its borders to allow tourists from all the countries from July. The New Zealand government is also planning to allow back cruise ships to make things easier for skilled workers worldwide.

Since the pandemic, the death toll rate for New Zealand was always far below compared to that of many developed nations. As the pandemic has been prolonged, the strict rules, measures, and obligations mentioned by New Zealand became outdated because almost all the other countries have opened up.

New Zealand started opening its border gradually in the April month of 2022.

Tourists from the Countries Invited in the Month
Australia April
U.S., Britain and 50+ other countries May
China, India and many other countries June

The New Zealand government has also planned to provide a pre-departure covid 19 test for the people who require it by the end of July.

Recently Ardern's fiancé Gayford tested positive. To avoid disrupting people's daily lives, Prime Minister Jacinda Adern isolated herself. According to New Zealand health rules, if a person is tested positive, the household contacts of infected people need to stay isolated for seven days. This information was given by Prime Minister Jacinda Adern herself via a video link from her Wellington house.

Prime Minister Jacinda Adern's announcement

Jacinda Adern "New Zealand reopens completely to the World from July 31st after restoring a two-month work schedule and preparation. The new immigration settings will help skilled workers to enter July with a new 'green list' of desired professions that include Engineers, Teachers, Doctors, nurses, Tech workers, and plumbers. The new announcement will alleviate the urgent need for skills shortage created during COVID."

Pre-Pandemic Statistics

Before the pandemic hit the world, New Zealand had almost 3 million tourists every year. This results in giving 20% of New Zealand's foreign income and more than 5% of the total economy. New Zealand's business leaders and tourism people have also liked this announcement.

New Zealand Cruise Association chairperson Debbie Summers "After almost two years of hardships, many Kiwi suppliers and tourism operators can start rebuilding their businesses back."

Prime Minister Jacinda Adern also has plans to start the trips to other nations by installing reopening plans. This is implemented from her first trip to Singapore and Japan and the upcoming trip to the U.S.
