Migration business probed for Australia visa scam

In connection with Australia visa scam, investigators of the Border Force have raided the offices of a company offering migration services termed as YABS Services. It was run by Avniesh Bhardwaj who is currently believed to be overseas.

Bhardwaj has been clicked with several high profile politicians in Australia. This includes Tony Abbott the former Prime Minister and Daniel Andrews the Premier of Victoria State. He has been charged with collecting 10s of 1000s of dollars from aspiring immigrants for work visas they never received.

Several citizens of India and Pakistan have said that Bhardwaj or the YABS consultants assured arranging Australian jobs and skilled work visas for them. It has been revealed that in a majority of the cases, applications were filed by the YABS.

However, the initial services charges collected from the clients was 30,000 $. They were also told that their application would be finalized within 3-4 months, as quoted by the ABC NET AU.

In many of the instances of this Australia visa scam, it’s been 4 years after the first payment. The promises for jobs and work visas have reached nowhere. In some of the cases, Bhardwaj charged extra fees even during the process delays. One of the applicants has said that he ended up paying 50,000 $ to YABS.

One of the Spokespeople of the Border Force said that the agency was aware of the charges against YABS. It was probing the publication of fake information on its website, he added.
