Historic record for Manitoba - 2019 sees the highest immigration

A new milestone in Canada immigration has been set in 2019 by Manitoba. The province recorded 18,905 approved immigration applications. This is the highest in the province’s history spanning 150 years. The new achievement is driving Manitoba’s motivation to create 40,000 jobs in 4 years.

The accolade of the highest immigration application was also achieved by Nova Scotia. It registered 2,780 immigrants applying in 2019.
