Graduates from which Australian Universities enjoy the highest salaries?

Australia houses some of the world’s top Universities and is well-known for its high quality of education. Do you wonder which Australian Universities produce graduates who enjoy the highest starting salaries? 

As per the Good Universities Guide 2019-20, the top spot goes to graduates from the Charles Darwin University and the University of Southern Queensland. Graduates from both these Universities get a starting salary of AUD 65,200. 

As per the 2018 Graduate Outcomes Survey, the median salary was AUD 61,000 for undergraduates employed full-time in 2018. As per the University website, this is the third consecutive year that the University of Southern Queensland has achieved the highest starting salary in Australia. 

Prof Geraldine Mackenzie, Vice-Chancellor of USQ,  said that the University is highly focused on high-quality education and making its students “job-ready”. This has reflected in the results. 

83% of Charles Darwin University graduates were employed in full-time jobs after graduation. 

Prof Simon Maddocks, VC of CDU, says that Charles Darwin University plays a vital role not just in Northern Territory but throughout Australia. 70% of the students enrolled in higher education study online with CDU. The University has been adept at delivering education to those students who are unable to attend classes on the campus.
