The Qualified Worker Program is a program devised in the Czech Republic. It's aimed to support employers in the country to employ foreign workers ready to work overseas.

The program was stalled for a while now ever since the COVID-19 pandemic began to spread around the world. The Czech Republic had stopped accepting applications for employment cards under the Program.

But as the epidemiological situation showed improvement the Czech Foreign Ministry resumed accepting applications for employment cards. This has started on June 15, 2020. Applicants can submit applications for the Program. This can be done from Czech diplomatic offices in Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Serbia, and Ukraine.

The move is expected to kickstart the economy again. This will be with participation from skilled workers from foreign lands. Now, as part of the Qualified Worker Program, Czech companies can offer opportunities to bidders from foreign nations.

Seasonal workers in the social services and health sectors can seek entry into the country. Workers in the critical infrastructure field and highly skilled staff can also seek entry into the Czech Republic.
