Details of IEC Program in Canada 2023

International Experience Canada (IEC) programs allow an individual from Canada and other eligible countries to visit and work in Canada and other countries.

The IEC falls under three categories:

• Working Visa categories: Avails an open work permit which allows an individual to work for an employee and pay for their trip
• International Co-op (internship): Students who opt for an International Co-op get a close work permit that allows them to work for certain companies in their research field.
• Young Professionals category:Young professionals avails an employment-specific work permit that lets them do professional work related to both studies and career paths.
