Details of the new Francophone Program:

To begin with, The Centre for Innovation in Francophone Immigration (CIFI) is issuing a new program called the Francophone Immigration Support Program (FISP). The Francophone initiative will support the presence of French in Canada, including:

 

  • Support for New Francophone Immigration Policy
  • Renewal and expansion of the Welcoming Francophone community
  • A new program to help Francophone immigration.
  • An action plan for official language

 

Through this new Francophone Immigration Support Program, they will fund innovative projects to eliminate barriers to Francophone immigration. This will also help Francophone minority communities participate in international promotion and better support and recruitment procedures for French-speaking Candidates.

 

This initiative is supported by an investment of over $137 million as announced as a part of the Government Action Plan for Official Language 2023-2028. The federal government firm's commitment is demonstrated through its initiative to prove Francophone minority communities' vitality.

 

This measure will also make the community more vital for long-term growth and give importance to the Francophone community outside Quebec.

 

The Government of Canada will continue to work with provinces, territories and stakeholders to strengthen these communities.  

 

Currently, Canada is accepting projects under the Francophone immigration support program.
