Australia’s Work Holiday Arrangement with Peru

Australia and Peru’s mutual Work and Holiday arrangement has a quota of 100 Visa applications each year. 100 young Australian and Peruvian citizens may apply for this Visa every year.

With this arrangement in place now, Australia is now tied up with 20 other countries in the world for the Work and Holiday Program.

A reciprocal Work and Holiday arrangement had come into effect between Australia and Peru on the 1st of October, 2017. Now citizens of the respective countries can apply for the Work and Holiday Visa of the other country.

The Work and Holiday Visa (Subclass 462 and Subclass 417) for Australia allows young people to holiday and at the same time work Down Under for up to 12 months. The applicant may also take up studies for up to 4 months, as per SBS.
