Australia is now ranked amongst one of the top stable investor destinations in the world for investment in Real Estate. This has been revealed by a new international survey. Australia has secured the 5th rank in the list of best nations for secure and stable investments in Real estate.

The ranking of top Real Estate investor destinations has been revealed by the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate. It is through its 26th annual member survey. The first place is secured by the US followed by Germany, Canada, the UK, and Australia.

Members of AFIRE are amongst the world’s largest institutional investors in real estate. They are estimated to possess 2 trillion $ + real estate assets under their management, as quoted by the Domain Com AU.

Edward Casal the Chairman of AFIRE said that investors are now less anxious about the impact of Brexit on UK’s economy. Thus London has displaced New York as the number 1 city for investment in real estate.

Several large financial groups are looking to relocate to EU from the UK. Investors are also now making choices for their relocation and the financial capital of Germany Frankfurt is their first option.

The Chairman of AFIRE elaborated that Australia did not have a recession for 25+ years and has had a very good run. It has witnessed high price growth in the majority of the property classes, added Casal. Thus it is no surprise that people are looking for a change, he said.
