Details of the Canada’s median salary:

In 2022, the consumer price index rose to 6.8% on an average salary. In 2022, the median wage increased in each sector such as:

 

  • Arts, entertainment, and recreation by 13.8%
  • Accommodation and Food services by 11.9%

 

From 2021-2022, there was also a consistent increase in wages for lower-wage industries, and inflation-adjusted wages also rose for low-wage workers, increasing by 10.9% at the first wage decline and 5.5% at the second decline.

Requirements for Canada work permit
